Sourcing close to the crop

Buying for a production line starts with a clear specification. We work at origin to agree the grade, quantity and moisture requirements before a lot is dispatched.

Each lot is a single grade, with size and moisture readings on its certificate and a retained sample for quality checks.

How we work

• We buy against confirmed orders rather than ahead of them.
• Popping and hand-sorting are skilled, traditional work in Mithila. We contract established processing units under written agreements that cover yield, quality and social compliance.
• Lot records connect sourcing, processing and dispatch.
• Growers are paid digitally into their own bank accounts.

What we do not do

• Blend grades.
• Sell loose, unbilled or on open credit.
• Quote CIF or delivered prices for export; export enquiries are FOB only.
• Sell retail packs to consumers.

Kamalkund means lotus pond: kamal, lotus, and kund, pond.
